Congratulations! Having a baby is one of the most exciting times in your life. Whether you are a parent for the first time, or well-seasoned when it comes to caring for newborns, the providers and staff of Bear Pond Family Medicine & Pediatrics are here to help. Getting Acquainted

Please feel free to call our office if you have additional questions about us. Or, if you prefer, call (860) 744-2244 today to schedule a prenatal meet-and-greet.

Upon Arrival

We recommend that all newborns should be seen within 24-48 hours of discharge from the hospital.

If your baby is born at Johnson Memorial Hospital, simply tell them you would like to see Bear Pond Family Medicine & Pediatrics and they will call us to set up your first appointment. If not, please call us upon discharge to set up your newborn's appointment.

First Visit

You can print off new patient forms before your appointment, if you would like. Bring a copy of the insurance card the child will be put on and a copy of your photo ID.
