Developmental Disorders/Behavioral Information
Bear Pond Family Medicine & Pediatrics our clinicians can educate, diagnose, and manage a variety of developmental and behavioral disorders and problems as well as psychological issues.
Our practice uses validated Depression Screening forms (see Newborn Care/Pediatric Preventative Care for standardized screenings) to evaluate and has a formalized process to refer patients to a Behavioral Health Specialist. These include but are not limited to:
- Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
- Attention Deficit with Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Autism
- Asperger's
- Poor School Performance
- Tourette's Syndrome
- Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD)
- Drug/Alcohol Use and Abuse
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Eating Disorders.

Co-management Agreements:
A co-management agreement is a mutually agreed upon method to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment between primary care providers and specialty providers.
